1. What is Pond Pals Academy?

Pond Pals Academy is an online learning world inside Ferdi’s Pond, where children can explore interactive games, printable activities, and stories that teach kindness, curiosity, and ecology. Each module — like Bartholomew’s Classroom, Bramble’s Poetry Corner, and Silas’s Sea & Stream — offers playful learning designed for ages 3 to 10.

2. Who created Pond Pals Academy?

The Academy is part of the Ferdi’s Pond, created by Misti Flowers of Dressed Up Hippy.. Misti’s whimsical characters: Ferdi the Frog, Fiona, Bartholomew the Owl, Bramble the Bear, Freddy the Butterfly, and others, guide children through nature-inspired lessons that blend storytelling, art, life values and academics.

3. What age groups is the Academy designed for?

  • 🐛 Caterpillar Kids (Ages 3–5) – Early learners: colors, shapes, letters, and listening skills.
  • 🦋 Chrysalis Kids (Ages 6–8) – Intermediate: reading, writing, early math, and creative exploration.
  • 🌸 Butterfly Kids (Ages 9–10) – Advanced: problem solving, ecology, science, and moral growth through stories.

4. How do I join Pond Pals Academy?

Visit the Pond Pals Academy page and choose a pass:

6. How do I access my content after purchase?

  1. Log in to your Ferdi’s Pond account.
  2. Go to My Pond Dashboard.
  3. Select your pass or module to start exploring!

7. Can my child use the Academy on a tablet or phone?

Yes! The Academy is available both on desktop browsers and through our official mobile app at ferdispond.mvt.so. The app is optimized for touch-friendly play and mobile-ready learning — perfect for families on the go.

8. How do I cancel my Monthly All-Access Pass?

There are two ways to cancel your subscription:

  • Through your My Pond Dashboard: Click the “Cancel My Subscription” link found in the footer of your dashboard.
  • By email: Send a request to ferdispond@gmail.com using the same email address used for your purchase. Please include the subject line “Cancel All-Access Pass.”

Cancellations are processed within 24 hours, and your access remains active until the end of your current billing period.

9. What’s the difference between a one-time pass and a subscription?

  • Monthly All-Access Pass: Renews automatically every 30 days through Stripe until you cancel.
  • One-Time Passes (Amphibian, Butterfly, Owl): Lifetime access passes purchased through the Ferdi’s Pond Store and never renew automatically.

10. Do you offer refunds?

Because the Academy provides instant digital access, all sales are non-refundable. If you experience technical issues, please reach out — we’ll always make sure you can enjoy what you’ve paid for.

11. Can teachers use Pond Pals Academy in the classroom?

Absolutely! Teachers are welcome to use their pass for a single classroom. If you’re a school or organization interested in multiple classrooms or student accounts, please contact us for group licensing options.

12. Is the content safe for kids?

Yes. Pond Pals Academy is COPPA-aligned and intentionally built to protect children’s privacy. We collect only parent or guardian contact information for account access, billing, and support. No ads, tracking cookies, or social media logins are used within the learning modules.

13. How often is new content added?

We add new lessons, games, or printable packs roughly every month. Subscribers receive email updates whenever new adventures go live!

14. I lost my password — what should I do?

No worries! Go to the Login page and click “Forgot Password?” You’ll receive a reset link at your registered email address. If you don’t see it within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

17. How do accounts work between the desktop site and the mobile app?

Pond Pals Academy can be accessed in two ways — through the desktop site and the mobile app at ferdispond.mvt.so.

Because these systems are separate, your desktop account and mobile app account are not automatically connected. Here’s how it works:

  • If you first create your account on the desktop site, your mobile app account will be created and activated within 24 hours.
  • If you first create your account through the mobile app, your desktop account will be added within 24 hours.
  • You only need to purchase one pass — your membership will be recognized on both platforms once your second account is activated.
  • You’ll receive an email notification once both accounts are synced and ready.

If 24 hours have passed and your second account hasn’t appeared, please email ferdispond@gmail.com for support.
